Born and raised in Athen’s Georgia, Karli Lar Durden is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, creating music inspired by the golden era of classic country and the emotional honesty of Americana/Indie folk. Her songs drift between heartbreak and hope, weaving together cinematic storytelling and deeply human lyricism. Each song feels like it takes you through an oil painting of a mountain landscape full of fireflies — or lying in bed, daydreaming, of what’s to come. Influenced by the great outdoors, old country records, and the complexities of love, loss, longing, and an appreciation for life, her sound balances depth with gratitude — equal parts vulnerable and unshaken.
