Voted “Best Unsigned Band” by the readers of the 2004 Nashville Scene, Groove Addiction packed clubs and dance floors all around the southeast in their 25 years together. Regionally known for both their cover show and their unique original sound, Groove Addiction independently released three albums (2003’s “For All Intents and Purposes,” 2005’s “Temporal Bliss,” and 2007’s “Edge of Content.”) With a soulful pop sound that incorporated multiple genres, tight harmonies, sophisticated chord progressions and strong hooks - comparing well to early Maroon 5 - the band never achieved the national success they enjoyed regionally around Nashville. Groove Addiction closed the chapter on the band in 2024 with the passing of their beloved and insanely talented lead singer, Steven “Meven” Maldonado. This vinyl limited pressing, which features the best of their original music from their three albums, is lovingly dedicated to him.
