Refining their craft over the past three years, The Band Honey has arrived at a unique sound inspired by the grandeur of 80s giants U2 and Tears for Fears combined with their own moody, nostalgic feel. Anemoia, meaning "the nostalgia for a place one has never been," is a reflection on love, mistakes, coming of age, and continuing to move forward with purpose when the direction seems uncertain. The 4-piece combines a lyrical prowess beyond their years with a young, vibrant sound to create a combination that is both fresh, yet somehow familiar. Following a huge spring where the band played Jam In The Streets, Virginia Highlands Porchfest, and countless shows up and down the east coast, they are looking forward to a packed schedule in the fall sharing bills with Winyah, Penelope Road, Underground Springhouse, and Stephen Sanchez. It has been a long time coming, and the Honey boys are ready to climb.
