Based in Los Angeles, California, Vatomico is an instrumental project that plays “Electrojazz” and mixes electronic music with funk, mambo, and jazz. A stylistically unique Electronic Music Band from day one, the members of Vatómico have been performing and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers. Throughout the course of the band’s union, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making public appearances, all the while recording new music. The sound produced by the bass, sequences, sax, and keyboards goes from Avalanche and Kinky, to Coltrane and Mingus. Their shows, with songs composed mostly by their own, offer a tremendous display of energy and improvisation where the keyboards and sax gain the spotlight, supported by a solid rhythm section that doesn’t disappoint anybody.
