Ty Manning was an Athenian musician for 30 years. The Slawdog Biscuits have been his backing band for the last decade. About 4 years ago, Ty retired from his day gig and moved to the swamps of south Ga. Battling through the distance between him and the Slawdogs and his health issue, Jewelry Box Full of Honey has been good medicine for all involved. 1/2 of the songs are old and 1/2 are new. None of them have ever been released before. We are so excited to share them with the world! The album is an eclectic mix of musical genres: blues, country, folk, rock, gypsy jazz & funk. Music is hard to describe with words. I guess you’re going to have to buy a copy so you can describe it yourself! hehehe!
