Beginner’s Luck is the debut full-length album from Atlanta-based folk rock singer/songwriter Mary Margaret Cozart. Through eleven self-produced tracks, Cozart reconciles her grief from moving and longing within relationships throughout her early twenties; after relocating around her home state, pursuing a stint in Europe, and settling back in Atlanta, Cozart resolves to navigate her life beyond passivity or luck.

Following single releases "Interior Design" and "Maggie’s World", which evidenced her developing sound, Beginner’s Luck defines Cozart’s musical identity by subverting its title. This album culminates a decade-plus of honed songwriting, undergraduate classical guitar studies, collaborations with former bandmates, and live performances in solo and band settings. With Beginner’s Luck, Cozart shares a sense of arrival as much as she garners an emergence.
