Muscle Shoals, AL based rock outfit Lightwatch is coming out of the gate swinging. After writing and performing together for years leading up to their debut record, "Into the Evers," the band immediately booked an extensive 2025 tour. Their 10-song, 30-minute freshman LP continues to garner new fans in all corners of the United States, and the band is eager to get in front of them. With tour dates spanning every inch of the East Coast, from Florida to New York and then some, Lightwatch is hitting the road hard with their newly-released material.
WEBSITELightwatch started in October of 2020 as a little garage rock band, originally called “Yes Trespassing.” Over the years, they traveled all over the Southeast building their catalogue and figuring out who they were. In the summer of 2023, they started recording their first full-length record and quickly realized they had outgrown both their original name and sound. The songs that came to be “Into the Evers” demanded a more serious approach to the music. Thus, Yes Trespassing became Lightwatch. They released their debut LP in December of 2024 and have been consistently touring the material across the entire eastern half of the U.S., with a lengthy tour schedule beginning in July and ending in September. The band’s fresh but familiar mix of aggressive riffs and dynamic vocals keep crowds coming back every time. While it’s obvious that they draw inspiration from the 90’s grunge and alternative rock movements, you can’t quite put your finger on what exactly they sound like. You’ll just have to listen for yourself.
