Keegan DeWitt is one of the more versatile and exciting young composers working in film and TV.

Whether adding a refreshing voice to larger projects at A24, SONY, HBO, SHOWTIME and FOX, or collaborating alongside notable independent filmmakers; his work crosses a large tapestry of styles and demands attention with its originality and emotion.

His score for the Elle Fanning standout-out ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES has populated playlists and racked up streams on Spotify, TikTok and Instagram since its premiere. It features a raw intimacy that explodes into an emotive and levitating orchestral suite that perfectly captures the emotional breadth of the viral novel it’s based on.

Friendship, featuring the meme ruling Tim Robinson, hits theaters via trendsetter A24 this spring and “The Threesome”, a collaboration with longtime friend Chad Hartigan, premieres at this year’s SXSW film festival.

DeWitt first entered the world of premiere TV with his wry and eclectic score to Sarah Jessica Parker’s “DIVORCE”, later going on to work with AMC (“Kevin Can F Himself”), and the amazing Jared Hess (“Napoleon Dynamite”) on his Fox show “Making History”. His smoldering slow burn of a score for FX’s “A Teacher” helped stoked the danger and intrigue that got so many people talking.

Over the past 10 years, Keegan has brought 15 films to the Sundance Film Festival; titles that would go on to garner an Academy Award, multiple Sundance Audience Awards, and an Independent Spirit Award.

Alongside his work as a composer, he has performed as a singer-songwriter and was a founding member of the band Wild Cub. Their song "Thunder Clatter" found success at radio and took them around the globe, with appearances on Jimmy Fallon and Conan O’brien and festivals such as Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
