Sound of SIlver
LCD Soundsystem

LCD Soundsystem's 2007 album 'Sound of Silver' is a genre-defying masterpiece, blending post-punk and electronic beats. Emotionally charged and timeless.

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem — This is the second album from electronic project LCD Soundsystem. It was recorded in 2006 by James Murphy, the creator of LCD Soundsystem, at Long View Farm in Massachusetts. Reportedly, Murphy covered the entire studio in silver fabric and tin foil. Mark Pytlik of Pitchfork wrote, "It's an absolute joy to listen to, for every possible reason, not the least of which is because, these days, those epiphanies feel like they're coming fewer and farther between." It was reissued by DFA Records as a double LP — pressed at Citizen Vinyl — in a gatefold jacket with matte finish and a silver foil stamp on the cover.
